The School Festival

The School Festival was created by many students. The festival made them laugh. Most of the students said "It gave us the best memory this year." The events on the stage were very interesting. They were:

• A Whole New World with Conductor Aladdin（3A)
• Oh Happy Day（3B)
• Body Building by Takase
• Singing by Suzuki
• 'Stand by Me' by Super Mario Brothers
• Super Mario Brothers United for Mr, Yoshikawa (some of the 3A students)

Everyone was wearing different hats and a mustache. Those costumes were very popular. The best performance was 'Oh Happy Day'. I think the results were given by their union.

There were food stands near the tennis court. They sold rice balls, fried chicken, Yakitori, curry rice and others. I ate the curry rice. It was so delicious and there were many ingredients in the curry. The curry and the rice balls were not made by students. The parent's group made them for the festival. But the student's food was also nice. Yakitori was the most popular in the third grade.

The festival was made by students, teachers and others. So I believe that the next festival will also be made by the ideas of everyone.

Sports Day

On the 29th of September, we had Sports Day. It was a fine, clear day. The races were full of fun! I competed in the 200 meter race. To my surprise, I advanced to the finals!! But I was last in that race… It was regrettable that I couldn’t get the first place.

Before lunch, we girls wore yukata and danced Bon dancing. I wore a yukata for the first time in five years and I danced Bon dancing for the first time in my life. The boys played a piggy back fight. It was really exciting!! They snatched each others hats and some boys tumbled. Lol. After sports day, my class had a yakiniku party. I had a great time.
