London and Paris
By Junpei NISHIKAWA & Masayuki NAGAYA
We carried out a survey about the London and Paris trip that the regular course second grade senior high school students went on this term. Although not everyone answered, we got a response from 78 students.
We were interested to know if the students have been to other countries before. We asked them if they had been overseas and we 70% of students said "yes". It means that it is easier to go abroad than before.
Next, we asked them: "Did you enjoy the London and Paris trip?" Only two students said they were bored. Most of the enjoyed it, 31 people said it was "very fun" and 30 students said it was average and ten students said it was "not so bad". We concluded that the school trip was satisfactory.
We asked the two students who said they were bored, why they felt that way. One student said: "It was a disappointment." And the other student said: "I was scared to fly." It means that there were not personal conflict during the trip, everyone got on well. Personally, I think that flying is horrible too.
Our next question was: "How much did you spend?"
Three students spent over 150,000 yen. We were surprised by this result. We can't imagine spending so much money in a short time! Most student spent 50,000 yen and about 15 students spent 100,000 yen.
Our final question was: "What impressed you most on this trip?" Some students answered: "I was surprised by the Eiffel Tower." And many students said: "I bought many clothes."
The school trip was a success!
